Hi Traci, thanks for contacting us. Congratulations on farming organically. We have monthly tours here on the third Sunday of the month, which are information-packed mini permaculture classes in our Food Forest. Perhaps you could come on one of those tours? We also hold private tours for the same cost other days of the week for groups of five to fifteen. I hope to meet you someday.
    Thanks!

Hi There! I am currently living on a small scale organic farm in Escondido… Just learned about your project when I was researching composting toilets! I would love to come by Finch Frolic Garden sometime to learn about your methods and intentions. Much love, Traci

I was planning on attending the workshop on trees; it seems like it’s been canceled though. How disappointing! Hopefully it will be rescheduled sometime soon.

    See you next time.

Sharlyn, thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear that I could be helpful to you. There is so much to learn about nature and how it works that we’re still just discovering what most other organisms on Earth seem to already know. Doing what nature does, and helping it along timewise, is all that permaculture is about. I really appreciate your comment; it means a lot. Let me know how your garden is growing! Thanks for attending the talk, Diane

Dear Diane, I would like to personally thank you for speaking to the Santee Garden Club on Saturday. I have to say that you are my favorite speaker ever. I came home feeling like I had joined a revolution in gardening. I immediately started permaculture techniques that you shared. I made compost tea in my blender and do it twice a day now instead of throwing my scraps away. I buried cardboard around my trees and then covered with mulch. I began digging holes and filling with my larger compost instead of using the green waste bin. I have never heard a speaker who made me want to just come home and start over with how I garden. I really appreciate the time and the generous way you share with others. I think the sentence, “Feed the soil not the plants” made the biggest impact on my thinking- so logical but I just never really knew how to do it until I met you.

    Hi Monica,
thank you so much for your enthusiasm! I won’t have time for a consultation until the last week in May. Would the 28th, 29th or 30th work for you?

I would love to have you over for a few hours for suggestions on our yard! Will you have any time in LA soon? I adore your article about NO to gravel, and plan to convert my pool into a pond! THANK YOU for this extremely helpful website!
