In nature plants aim to grow in communities where they will flourish, and that is often in groupings of mixed species. In this workshop find out what plants do, what their appearance indicates, which plants do best in plant guilds and how to plant them for maximum health, beauty, protection and production. Led by Diane and Miranda Kennedy of Finch Frolic Garden, you'll learn about each member of a guild, what that plant does, why it works, and will receive a handout with guild plants that succeed in San Diego.
Cost of the program is $20 per person. You can use the PayPal 'Donate' button on the homepage to pre-pay, or pay when you come. Please RSVP to email@example.com, even if you've said so on a Meetup.
Homemade vegetarian refreshments will be provided; students may wander Finch Frolic Garden before or after the program. We look forward to seeing you there!
